1. General

1.1 These Terms of Service apply to all repair, maintenance and setup work (“Services”) carried out by BBZGuitars (“BBZGuitars”).
1.2 By leaving an instrument with BBZGuitars for Services, the customer agrees to these terms.

2. Estimates and Authorisation

2.1 Any price estimates provided prior to a detailed bench inspection are indicative only.
2.2 If additional issues are identified during the service, BBZGuitars will notify the customer for approval before proceeding.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Payment is due in full upon collection of the instrument.
3.2 Payment methods accepted: cash only. BBZGuitars does not accept payment by debit card, credit card or cheque.
3.3 In exceptional circumstances, when dealing with a business or public entity, payment by bank transfer may be accepted by prior agreement only. Payments by bank transfer will incur an administration fee of £10.
3.4 No instrument will be released until full payment has been received and cleared.
3.5 Failure to pay will result in the instrument being retained until payment is made in full.

4. Collection and Storage

4.1 Customers will be notified when their instrument is ready for collection.
4.2 All instruments must be collected within 14 calendar days of notification.
4.3 Instruments not collected within this timeframe will incur a storage charge of £15 per week (or part thereof), unless prior arrangements have been made with BBZGuitars.
4.4 If an instrument remains uncollected after 60 days and reasonable contact attempts have been made, BBZGuitars reserves the right to dispose of or sell the instrument to recover costs.

5. Liability and Warranty

5.1 All work is carried out with due care and professional skill.
5.2 BBZGuitars is not responsible for wear, ageing, existing faults, or previous repair work.
5.3 A 30-day workmanship warranty applies to paid services. This does not cover damage caused by misuse, environmental factors, accidental damage or further third-party intervention after collection.

6. Communication

6.1 BBZGuitars will contact customers via the phone number or email provided.
6.2 It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure contact details are correct and communication channels are monitored during the service period.

7. Privacy

7.1 Customer contact details will only be used for service-related communication and record-keeping.
7.2 Details will not be shared with third parties unless legally required.

8. Governing Law

8.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
8.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
